1. Who we are

ZiviAI ("we", "us") provides an AI video and image generation platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We act as the data controller for the data described below.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: email, display name, password hash, authentication provider.
• Content you create: prompts, uploaded images, generated videos and images.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, credits consumed, device and browser type, approximate location (country).
• Communications: messages you send through chat, support requests.
• Cookies: see our Cookie Policy.

3. Why we use your data

• To provide the Service (generate, store and deliver your content).
• To authenticate you and protect your account.
• To process credit purchases and prevent fraud.
• To send service emails (welcome, password reset, important account changes).
• To improve the platform through aggregated, anonymous analytics.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

We process your data based on: (a) the contract between us when you use the Service, (b) your consent for non-essential cookies and marketing emails, (c) our legitimate interest in keeping the Service safe and improving it, and (d) legal obligations.

5. AI training

Your prompts, uploads and generated content are not used to train our or any third-party AI models.

6. Sharing & sub-processors

We share data only with vetted sub-processors needed to run the Service: cloud hosting and database, AI model providers (for the duration of generating your output), email delivery, payment processing, and analytics. We do not sell your personal data.

7. International transfers

Some sub-processors are located outside the EU/EEA. When this happens, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

8. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Generated content is kept until you delete it or close your account. Logs and analytics are retained for up to 24 months. We may keep limited data longer if required by law.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to processing. You can also withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at privacy@moviraai.net. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Denmark: Datatilsynet).

10. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted storage, role-based access controls and Row-Level Security on our database. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password.

11. Children

ZiviAI is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
